North County High teacher wins ‘National Language Teacher of the Year’ award

“The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, or ACTFL, has awarded its National Language Teacher of the Year award to a German teacher at North County High School.

Katrina Griffin, who has taught at the Glen Burnie school for 15 years, was announced on Friday as the award winner at the council’s convention in Boston.

Griffin chairs the World and Classical Language Department at the high school and was one of five finalists competing for Maryland Teacher of the Year.”
